Where Is The Blog...

Blog Updates:
The blogging figures are doing well at the moment and the viewing figures are above average on the games blog due to my new blog series "Indie Games Corner" where I am featuring some the best indie games I have played.

The network has grown to become very large and with this comes running cost so I have started to use the amazon affiliate system to help support the blog and placed links on most of the blogs for both and The affiliate system is good as it means that by using the amazon links the blog gets a small cut of all sales which can help towards running costs on the blogging network and for getting products for reviews. Plus I am building a new gaming PC next year which will help to create bigger and better content for all the blogs so every little helps.

I am still developing ideas for the gaming channel as I want to make something different, something that reflects the blogging network and gives people something more than just a gaming video. So hopefully I will be able to release something very soon.

I have decided to make the decision to close down a few of the failed blogs to concentrate on the main blogs that are working and streamline the blogging network to make it more affective. This will mean that the only blogs on the network will be the:
Main blog:
Games blog:
Project 365: (until 31st december 2013)
Review Blog:
Photography Blog:

The blogs that will go quiet and not be in use until further notice will be:
Kvlog101 Graphic Design:
Theatre Blog:
Maybe when the network grows bigger I will bring them back in to service.

Future Plans:
I have started to plan a few ideas for next year which will increase the workload on the blogging network by a small amount but will make it more productive and reach a larger audience which will help to improve the network and let it improve as it grows.

I will be launching the new food blog "Let's Talk Food" in 2014, so be sure to check it out for food related content and more...
Food Blog:

2014 is going to be a good year with plenty of good projects that are planned so be sure to keep up with all the blogs and stay tuned to the YouTube channel as I have a few plans for a set of time lapse projects next year.

4 Ways To Use A Blog To Improve Your Business

The Internet is a competitive place and with more businesses joining the Internet everyday it is difficult to stand out from the crowd but by running a blog alongside your business you can boost your page rankings on search engines and connect more with you customers on a personal level.

1.  Set up links to your company in key areas on the blog.
Lay out your blog with a header which links to your main site. By using a blog you can have more presence on search engines as your company can be seen by more people and by setting up links from photos, graphics and articles on the blog to your main site can increase traffic to your business.

2. Connect with your customer base by being open and transparent about what your company is doing.
You can post updates on projects and events on to a blog and make a conversation with readers to engage an audience, this can have a strong effect on people and make your company more friendly and popular with customers.

3. Build a following of people and set up an email list to keep people informed about your company.
As a company you want to be in the spotlight and be remembered by people so by setting up a blog that allows people to follow you and have a system that emails out to people when you post will keep your business in the inbox of your current customers and potential customers who follow the blog.

4. Post promotions and deals on the blog.
A blog is the perfect place to post deals and promotions for a company as you can target people who closely follow your company rather than open the flood gates to everyone and this helps to build a bigger presence by gaining double the views for your company and improving your company image.

Don't Hold Back... Make your dream a reality today

Work as hard as you can at what you want to achieve and you will succeed...

I know many people who have started down the right path of creating building block of their goals but have failed in making their vision a success, this is due to lack of motivation, failed time management and other work commitments but though all of these experiences it is clear that you have to work at your dream 110% to make it possible.

When it comes to setting up a YouTube channel, blog or even a company you have to put everything you have in to the company to make it work at its best.

If you want to achieve your goal you have to be willing to work at 110% and be willing to give up on things that are holding you back or adapt your life to make everything possible.

The main thing to remember is to not give up and to keep working at what you want to achieve and you will ultimately be on the way to your goal.

Check out the next post in this series in the next few days...

Don't Hold Back...

Everyone has dreams and aspirations in life and anyone can complete their goal with hard work and dedication.

I was talking to a few friends recently and we started to talk about future plans and new projects we wanted to do and this got me thinking about ideas and how we all can take steps to make our ideas a reality.

If you have an idea or a goal in life you are on the first steps to making it a reality.

I thought it was about time to write a series of blog posts to help people realise their potential and make their aims and goals a reality.

Over the next few blog post I will be writing a series of post to help you see that you can do anything you set your mind to.

Join me on this journey by following this blog for the next few weeks.

Summer in the City 2013 Review

Summer in the City was a great event this year and had some great activities that allowed the whole community to engage in the event,

The security and the safety of the event was a vast improvement to last years event at the brewery and the way the event was organised and run meant that it was more enjoyable for everyone. The venue was 100 times better than the venue of 2012 and allowed for people to attend for meet and greets but i found the best part of the venue and event to be the open mic room and the panorama room were there was some great panels and talks.

The event was not perfect and there are many more lessons to be learnt from this year but with the organisers at the wheel i think they will be able to create something more spectacular next year. The event was great and had so much to offer to everyone,

The event was great for filming as there was plenty of activity going on,  I was able to get a time lapse made
and have put it up on YouTube [Link Below]
I will be creating another video soon so if you want to see it subscribe to keep up to date.

I will be creating some more time lapse videos on the youtube channel over the next few weeks so subscribe to be sure not to miss them.

YouTube: Why Are You Creating Problems?

YouTube is really pushing the community to its limit...

YouTube needs to act now and get its game together or the youtube community will start to break down and go to other sites...

The Subscription Box:
YouTube needs to ask themselves:
What is the point of getting people to subscribe to someone if YouTube is not going to deliver the video to your subscription box?

I have subscribed to over 500 people so i can keep up with the changing elements of the youtube community but when i am not getting videos delivered to my sub box it means i miss out on content which them means i can't write and create content for this blog and keep up with current trends and keep informed about current events.
We all use YouTube because we want to view content and if YouTube wants to be silly and not fulfil its services people will start to leave and go elsewhere on the Internet Its plain and simple.

Killing the Little Guy:
More and more is being done by youtube to promote the bigger people of the youtube community and in turn it is killing off the smaller users that are trying to grow and make better content. Nine out of ten times you look at the recommendations youtube offer people you will see users with subscriber bases well over 200,000 strong which means a lot of the smaller content creators struggle to get seen and stand out from the crowd.

Video Response:
According to many places on the Internet YouTube is thinking to getting rid of the "Create a video response" button. This is going to kill off the way many people create competitions and stop videos from starting conversations which can help to grow a bigger community on youtube, how will people be able to add their point of view to debates and have a voice in the community.

The Fine Line:
At the end of the day the way to look at the situation is that YouTube is a company that is trying to make as much money as possible but when you take away features that are important to the community you will cause a rift in the community that will ultimately damage YouTube in the future.

I really don't want to see YouTube fail or to be ruined by mismanagement as i love the fact that it has created so many communities and brought together some of the best content on the Internet. It's just the fact that YouTube is heading in a direction that will one day change the way people use the site and be a shadow of its former self.

Question of the Blog Post:
What Do you see that is wrong with YouTube?

The Future of the Internet in our Hands... Will You Make Your Mark?

We all have the power to shape the Internet for everyone now and future generations.

The Internet has grown over the years and everyone has shaped how the Internet is being used today with every click of the mouse and every keystroke they make while surfing the Internet. We all have the power to create content on the Internet.

The use of websites such as YouTube have allowed ordinary people to make content that is watched by millions of viewers and can rival most TV station viewing figures, the success of YouTube is down to its users and without the loyal viewers and content creators it would not be in the position it is in today. We have all made YouTube become a success as we have all used it.

The Internet is changing each day and it is down to us all doing what we do online that shapes what the Internet will become in the future. We all use the Internet for different things and for most of the communities on the Internet are full of  people who make the Internet great but there are some people who just want to troll everyone and spread hate. Actions like this make mainstream media (TV/Radio/Papers) report a negative image of the Internet that ultimately damages the way people view how the Internet is used.

The growth of social media has made it possible to be in communication with everyone 24 hours a day 7 days a week and this has raised a problem with people being bullied through social media and abuse from people hiding behind a keyboard on many of the services that allow non-identifying accounts.

Freedom of speech is a right that everyone should have and should be available to people around the world, the Internet allows the greatest tools to say what you think but many people do not fully understand the way the Internet should work and they treat it like a detachment of reality for example, you would not go up to someone in the street and abuse them with death threats so why do it on the Internet. People need to be educated in how to behave on the Internet from an early age so they understand that there actions online do affect real life events. There needs to be more awareness on the way the Internet affects the lives of the users who log on each day through careful placed adverts or a collaboration of Internet users to raise awareness.

We need to all work together to help the Internet keep growing and to educate people about how the Internet can be used for good, Everyone can make a difference by writing a blog post, making a video and sharing links to campaigns that help to stop the abuse and bullying that we see online each day and to help educate people in how we can make the Internet better.

You have the power to shape the future of the Internet...  It is up to everyone to make a difference....

19000 PageViews/ Summer in the City 2013/ YouTube Videos/ Blogging Network Updates

I thought it was about time I wrote a post to give every one a few updates on what is happening with the blogs and stuff...

19,000 Page Views

I have passed 19,000 page views on the main blog a week or so ago... I think it is great that the blog has grown as it has and it is all down to the readers and the people who have supported my work and the blog.
I will be posting more content leading up to summer in the city plus making some time lapse videos and doing some other videos around London.

Summer in the City

Summer in the city is around the corner and looks like it is going to be better than last year, the event looks more organised and the venue looks 100 times better than last years. I have plenty of ideas for videos that I will be making while I am down in London and will be creating plenty of blog posts so people can keep up to date with what I get up to.

YouTube Videos

I have got plenty of video footage I shot while down in Cornwall on holiday so will be making a few videos over the next few weeks. I am aiming to make more videos for my YouTube channel as i have enjoyed the process of making the videos and learning to use my editing software properly.
The videos are not the best quality and the editing on my first few may be awful but if I keep working on them I hope to be able to make better videos very soon. It would really help if people rate comment and subscribe so i can get some feedback on my videos so if you could give me any ideas on how to improve the videos it would really help me out.

Blogging Network

I have been busy for the past month setting out new plans for the network and sorting out ways to grow the network so I can make better content and create more stuff. There are plenty of things to look forward to over the next few months...
Expect to see more blog posts on this site and don't forget to check out the posts i will be doing for the summer in the city gathering and some of the photography and videos i will be making.
The network will be growing in a big way and will continue to grow as long as people carry on reading and supporting the blog.

Cornwall Holiday: Crackington Haven

A small place with not a lot around it but one beach well worth a visit...
The beach has a great view over the sea and has some good rock formations on either side.
The beach is great for surfing and for relaxing on a day out as it is a great area to visit if you are near by.

Cornwall Holiday: Bude

Bude is a great town with a lot to offer to its visitors, the shopping streets have a good selection of store that have something for everyone.

The town has great canal area with some great shops and the perfect cafe/bistro called the olive tree that serves a great selection of food that makes it well worth a visit.
The town has plenty of green space and places to relax near the cliffs
The town is connected up with series of bridges and you can walk around most of the town using a series of footpaths, we parked up for the day and just walked everywhere to explore what the town had to offer.
As the sun set over over the town we went to the end of the canal that sits just next to the beach which leads to a open air sea swimming pool.
This is just one of the many photos I manged to get.

Cornwall Holiday: Widemouth Bay, Bude

On our holiday down in Cornwall we stayed at the John Fowler holiday park which is only a 5 min walk to the beach down a coastal path that had spectacular views of the sea, beach and cliffs that make up an area  that is popular with surfers and families. One thing about many beaches are that many of them are too small and can feel crowded but on this beach there was enough space to walk only a few minutes away to be in the middle of the rock pools that felt like they were in the middle of nowhere.

The bay is amazing as it is so open that it makes the perfect beach for relaxing, surfing, exploring and with the area being so open with big clear skies around it it makes the perfect atmosphere for walking on the beach at sunset and star gazing.

The rock pools were full of life and home to some amazing creatures. The rocks created some great on the beach and are great for exploring as there is plenty to see at the waters edge.
There was something relaxing about walking around the rock pools as it was so peaceful and quiet I felt it was a great place to relax and enjoy the holiday.
The beach was great on an evening as you could see the gentle waves lapping on to the sand and the sun changing colour as it set on the horizon.
The sky was alight with colours of fire most evenings and as the the sun set for the day on the distant horizon the sky changed to a deep red highlighted with orange and purple.

This part of Cornwall is amazing and has so much to offer, i loved every minute of being on the beach as it was such a nice surrounding and i was able to get some great photographs of the sun set while sat on the beach.

I will be posting more blog posts about other places I visited while on holiday so be sure to follow the blog so you don't miss out.

Cornwall Holiday: Introduction

I have been away on holiday for the past week in Cornwall and it has been such a great holiday with plenty of activity I have not had time to update many of the blogs.

I have fallen in love with the north coast of Cornwall and feel sad that i had to leave but after only seeing a small part of the area I can say with certainty that I will one day live in Cornwall as it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in the united kingdom.

The weather was great and it was brilliant sunshine everyday that I was away, the temperature was very warm and close to 30° most days which was exceptional warm for many parts of the UK.
We visited so many places and  while we were down there that I will not be able to fit it all in to one post so instead i will be posting blog posts on each place we visited and putting them out during the next week. I will be including many of the 800 photos i took on this blog, the 365 blog and the photography blog over the next few weeks.

Join me on a journey through some of the best places I have visited in Cornwall over the next week and read about some of the places that are well worth a visit to on the north coast of Cornwall.

Armed Forces Day: 29.06.13

The community has come together for armed forces day in the local area and has shown how it should be done when you put on a street market.

I attended for only a few hours as I was called away to deal with some other business but the time i spent at the event was great and the event really brought the community together.
The bunting was hung and the street packed with people looking in the shops and buying great products and produce from the stalls while helping to raise money for the help the hero's charity.

I got a few shots while i was there and thought i would share them with you all so you could see how the street come to life with community spirit.
